Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Trio Review – Don’t Steal My Thunder

Wet n Wild Silver Eyeshadow Trio

Weekly Cheap Secret:

Here’s my review and swatches of Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio 385B Don’t Steal My Thunder, the silver trio.

White Pearl Shimmer – A white pearl shimmer, the softest shadow in the palette.

Smoky Black – This is a coal black with some silver shimmer, not too glittery once blended. Makes a wonderful eyeliner shade.

Platinum Shimmer – This is my favorite shade out of this trio. It looks like molten silver. It is highly pigmented and blends easily. I’ve paid much more for silvers that can’t live up to the quality of this WnW.

Here’s a look that I did using this trio. I rarely wear silver eye makeup since it reminds me too much of KISS and I’m not cool enough to be a glam rocker, but whatever, I wanted to show how this trio works together. This look is without a primer. As you can see, the silver shade is awesome. The black is easy to blend and I used the white shimmer under the brows. I lined upper lash line with WnW Color Icon Eyeliner in Black and applied Ardell False Eyelashes after applying a few coats of mascara.

Wet n Wild Don't Steal my Thunder Eyeshadow Look

I highly recommend this trio. These have great pigment and are easy to blend, like most of Wet n Wild’s eyeshadows. If you are looking for a perfect silver eyeshadow or something very much (actually IMO better) than Dior 5-Colour Eyeshadow in Gris Gris 034, then pick this up.

This Color Icon eyeshadow trio retails for under $4. More info at WnW Beauty.

  1. The only problem with the ‘cheap’ Wet N’ Wild products is that they are made in China. I don’t trust the ingredients. I prefer to use products i eat and put on my face that I know I can look up and are made in the USA or the EU–they have better standards–China has none.

    1. I understand. I do know that a few Wet n Wild products say that they are made in Germany. Not all of their products are produced in China. And I’m going to rant now…I bought some eyeshadows from Sephora that were made in China. I was really disappointed to pay that price for Wet n Wild eyeshadow.
