Von Eusersdorff New York Classic Vetiver EDP Perfume Review

Von Eusersdorff Classic Vetiver

Von Euserdorff is a line of modern “classic” perfumes. And they really do that so well. The fragrances are simple, but that is their strength. These are the sort of classic fragrances that I see myself wearing on a daily basis, like the perfume equivalent of wardrobe staples. Classic Vetiver really is a classic vetiver.

Classic Vetiver is like a peppery vetiver with sharp, lemon-y resins. It’s like a bright, citrus vetiver with a sharp, green geranium. The heart is spicy and dry with black pepper, cedar and you guessed it, vetiver. It dries down to a slightly powdery vetiver and “oily” patchouli.

Vetiver perfumes can go in a few different directions. This one isn’t sweet. And it isn’t overly green. It’s one of those spicy, yet fresh, vetivers, think like Hermès Terre d’Hermès and not like Guerlain Vetiver.

Notes listed include grapefruit, bergamot, lemon, geranium, elemi, peppercorn, cedarwood, black patchouli and vetiver.

Give Classic Vetiver a try if you like classic vetivers! Or if you like perfumes like Hermès Terre d’ Hermès, Montale Red Vetyver, Il Profvmo Vetiver de Java, The Different Company Limon de Cordoza and/or CREED Vetiver Geranium.

Projection and longevity are average.

The 3.4 oz retails for $158 at Indigo Perfumery and Twisted Lily. Samples are also available for purchase.

Victoria’s Final EauPINION A fresh, spicy vetiver. Personally, I have this base covered in my own perfume collection, but if you are looking for a “daily” vetiver, this is worth sampling.
