The Lipstick League – week of 9.8.14
Question of the Week: When a beauty product is labeled “Limited Edition” (LE), are you more inclined to purchase it?
EauMG’s Answer: Not really. That rarely “works” on me. When it does, it’s because it’s something that I find really special or I love the packaging (i.e. Guerlain Holiday Collections). But, in those causes I’m buying because I like them or find them special, not because they are LE.

I almost don’t want to try LEs only because if I want more, I’m out of luck. Although I will say that it has worked on me before- mostly with Bpal scents;)
I love that pic of Keely Smith. A few weeks ago I was listening to a playlist and her song came on with the photo. I had to google. What a glamorous pic! I love the hair. I just finished a Louise Brooks bio, so I have ‘black helmet’ hair on my mind.
That’s another reason I avoid them!
She’s a lovely woman. And I think she’s still rocking a bob. She can really rock the micro-bangs. Ugh, now I want to chop my hair off (after months of growing it out, lol).
