  1. Some blushes I recommend in that color family to look at are Clinique Cheek Pop blushes in Plum Pop and Pansy Pop. And Urban Decay Afterglow blush in Bitter Sweet.

    1. Thank you!

I’m curious about the Clinique ones…mainly because their packaging is so cute 😉

I’ve tried that UD one. It’s really pretty but goes on rather pink on me. Which is a pretty color for sure, strangely “natural” looking.

  2. Make up for ever used to have a matte lavender eyeshadow/ blush that I wanted for forever but never took the plunge. Now I don’t see it on the Sephora website. I do have ud’s bittersweet and I like it. You are right, it is natural looking but part of me still wants a true lavender. I fully acknowledge that matte lavender blush may look awful on me but I still want it.

Btw, love the ad. The lady looks like a Deco zombie with 80’s blush. Awesome.

    1. I know! I don’t think they make it anymore. I remember that too and I didn’t buy it. I ended up buying a pastel pink from them which I liked. I’ve also noticed that a lot of Korean brands over matte lilac blushes but they come on soooo sheer that I don’t notice them.

I want a true lavender and like you, I don’t care how awful it will look on me. I feel like some indie brand should have it, like some mineral pigment indie brand. I’ll find it 😉

I love it. It’s so Blitz Kids/New Romanticism dead deco. And when do you ever get to see that? 😉
