The Lipstick League – week of 8.28.17

Question of the Week: What hair products are you loving right now, and why?

EauMG’s Answer: Hmmm…I wish I had a current fave. I feel like I’m in a hair product funk. I actually just repurchased some Chi items because I remember that I loved it back in the day. I haven’t use it yet so I shall see if it is as good as I remember. My hair has been so frizzy (and extra coarse) lately. Any suggestions for a heavy, deep-moisturizing conditioner?

Beautygeeks – Our Manigeek gets into what may or may not be a new Maybelline nail polish collection called “Superstay 7 Days Super Impact” in English.

Beauty Junkies Unite – Guys; It’s a 10 is giving away one of my favorite hair products. See how you’ll be able to score yours for free!

Blushing Noir – Get acquainted with the 3 Best Luxury Beauty Products to Splurge On!

EauMG – Precious Liquid is a new perfume brand that encourages you to create your own unique, customized fragrance by layering. Here’s my thoughts on the Exquisite Collection, which is perfect for autumn.

fanserviced-b – I found some $64.70 skincare ice cubes, sigh.

Phyrra – My What’s in My Travel Makeup Bag video will help you prevent overpacking on your next trip!

Prime Beauty – Are you a Game of Thrones fan? Prime Beauty is and she discovered a bath bomb with a GOT surprise inside!

we heart this – Do you have a Paris-Themed palette in your collection? No? Well, you should change that!

  1. The Garnier Whole Blends Olive Oil shampoo and conditioner are working surprisingly well for my dry hair, and boy are they cheap!

Re: masks: I still get the best results from a homemade honey/sugar scrub: whatever oil works best for your skin, honey heated in the microwave for 8 seconds, sugar, neroli and jasmine oil for fun. Makes my skin feel dreamy, and again… cheap!

I also started doing the oil cleanse with hot washcloth to remove at night, and it has been keeping my skin nice and moisturized.

    1. Oh, one time I tried the Garnier in a red bottle at a friend’s house and was really surprised by it! I keep forgetting about them. I’m easily distracted.

      That does sound dreamy!

I love how my skin feels when I use oils/cream cleansers. My grandmothers both washed with olive oil and had great skin.
