Question of the Week: Which eyeshadow primer are you reaching for most often these days?
EauMG’s Answer: My default primer is Urban Decay Anti-Aging Primer Potion. However, I’m have a renewed interest in eye makeup again and I keep reaching for various shades of Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Eyeshadow.

During the winter months I used NXY’s eye primer, but I’ve gone back to Too Face. It works in really wet weather. We have had three weeks of rain. I also like Urban Decay.
I’ve been in TN for the past 1.5 weeks and it’s rained like crazy every single day. AND I forgot the UD primer at home so I’ve had some oily lids for the first time in my life. I’m tempted to go buy one right now, lol.
I love Carly’s tip for disguising dark circles!
Every day, I use Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow in Bikini-tini as my eyeshadow base/primer or just on its own. I use it from the lashline to the brow bone, and apply some as a highlighter on my cheekbones. I love the consistency, that its opacity is buildable, and that (as the name suggests) it actually doesn’t crease after wearing it all day.
Plus (pardon my frivolity) the little vintage-inspired shallow glass jar makes me happy when I reach for it! 🙂
I know! I learned something! lol
Well, I always buy stuff for packaging. I know, it’s shallow but I can’t help it. I do love the consistency of Benefit Creaseless. You’ve actually reminded me that I *really* like it and it’s one of those things that I haven’t repurchased. Why? Probably distracted by something else in cute packaging…
