The Lipstick League – Week of 4.20.15

Question of the Week: What foundation are you reaching for the most right now?

EauMG’s Answer: Good timing Lipstick League! I need a foundation upgrade. I’m currently using Guerlain Lingerie de Peau foundation, which I like but I’m ready for something different. I’m very tempted  by the Cover FX Custom Cover Drops since they can be mixed with any skin product. I’m going to need to buy a new foundation soon. Any suggestions? I have dry skin and tend to like medium to full coverage (for lighter coverage, I’ll wear a tinted moisturizer or tinted sunscreen).

Phyrra – Lost on where to start with HAC? I’ve got you covered with the Pale Girl’s Guide to Highlighting & Contouring! Included are recommendations for light to medium skintones too!

Gouldylox Reviews – I’m obsessed with this new eye brightening wonder product from Becca. OBSESSED.

  1. Laura Mercier has a new foundation called Silk Crème Moisturizing Photo Edition Foundation that is supposed to be full coverage and adds moisture which I need to try. There are two versions of this, one is oil free and one I mentioned is moisturizing. One I have tried and really liked was the Bobbi Brown stick foundation, but I don’t think it is great for acne prone skin.

    1. I’ll check out the Laura Mercier.

Back in the days of when I had perfect skin, I used the Bobbi Brown stick and the Shiseido stick. And both of those were really great.
