The Lipstick League – week of 2.17.14
Question of the Week: In your opinion, what’s the most overrated beauty product of all time?
EauMG’s Answer: Oh, you know that I love a good rant. Actually, this is sort of tricky to answer. I think as far as “hyped” products, I would have to say Diorshow Mascara. I know it’s super popular and I don’t doubt the fans, but it’s not for me. It’s rather flaky/dry and I’ve had better luck with drugstore stuff. Plus, it smells like roses and I love roses but not in my eyes. Now for “most overrated beauty product”, I’ve got to go with sunless tanner. I say work with the skintone that you were born with. Plus, they smell gross. And they flake off unevenly. If they do happen to “look good”, they only look good for 24 hours and during those 24 hours you smell like a wet dog.
