The Lipstick League – week of 11.6.17
Question of the Week: We’ve got one more weekend for the Sephora Rouge 20% off sale. What the one item that you think everyone should pick up?
EauMG’s Answer: This is going to sound so bad, but I can’t really think of too much to buy during the Sephora Rouge sale for myself. It’s a good time to stock up on boring basics like skincare or foundation, the sort of stuff you know you like and will use. There are some great gift sets right now like the Touch in Sol Eye Set and Huda Contour & Strobe Lip Set. One thing that I’m really tempted by is the Chanel No. 5 L’Eau EDT travel set. It look so chic! As far as suggesting one item, I can’t! Buy whatever appeals to you! So, what will you be picking up?

Those Pat McGrath palettes, though.
Ugh, I know. They are so gorgeous. I’ve played with them in store and they are so dreamy. Y u got 2 b so expensive?!
Dangit, I missed the VIB Rouge sale, but you know…I think I would have just been buying things I neither want nor need–nothing has really been appealing to me lately.
…except for that bottle of Il Profvmo Black Dianthus that I jumped on, totally unsniffed, after reading your thoughts on it! And wouldn’t you know, it’s been scheduled for delivery two days in a row now, but when I checked usps, it indicates that it is delayed somewhere along the way. Rude!
I didn’t buy anything. I don’t really need anything. I also figured that Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales are coming up. If I feel like buying stuff I don’t need, then I can wait for those!
I look forward to hearing your thoughts on that one!
Probably the Peter Thomas Roth Meet Your Mask set. I bought one last year and really love all the masks. It’s lasted me forever too. I still haven’t finished off one of the masks yet! But I’m close…
That would be a good thing to pick up! Those sets really are a great value. I used the aloe one last night. I was surprised by how much I have in it despite using it rather frequently.
I didn’t buy that set but one they had that had 3 masks in it. ALL of those are still surprisingly full.
