The Lipstick League – Week of 10/9/17 – Mascara, Lipstick or Eye Shadow???

The Lipstick League – week of 10.9.17

Question of the Week: Mascara, lipstick, eye shadow: you have to eliminate one from your routine FOREVER. Which would you chose?

EauMG’s Answer: Why are you guys so cruel?! After thinking about this for too long, I’m going to say mascara. But, hear me out! I have short, stumpy lashes so mascara makes a difference. I just figured I could sub them false lashes or extensions. I just can’t give up the joys of lipstick and eyeshadow.

Gouldylox is Currently Craving: I’m torn between two palettes…I love the Smashbox Photo Strip palette for great transition shades, but I really want the new Huda Beauty palette. Decisions, decisions…

  1. Eyeshadow – I don’t wear everyday anyway so that’s an easy one. Now between mascara and lipstick? (shudders) Don’t make me do it.

    1. THIS IS TOO CRUEL!

I could probably skip on eyeshadow but life would be boring for me…says the person with 5 million palettes but wears the same 2 shades every single day…

  2. My instinct is to say I’d give up eyeshadow because I only rarely wear it, but I probably should choose mascara. I wear mascara regularly but my eyes are becoming less and less tolerant of it so I’ll probably have to give it up eventually anyway.

Lipstick, though, you can pry from my cold, dead hands.

    1. Lol. I’m with you on lipstick. There’s no way that’s going.

Same with me and mascara too. Some formulas ruin my life and leave my eyes bloodshot.

I love the thought of eyeshadow. I love looking at all the colors in a palette and I love seeing people’s creative looks. In reality, I’m rather boring and wear the same 2 neutral shades. I actually like an eyeshadow-free look with lipstick though. I think that’s rather chic.
