Rose Week 2018 – A Cosmetic Rose
It’s Rose Week on EauMG! This is the annual celebration of rose-centric perfumes! This week I’m reviewing 5 fragrances that display a different aspect of rose perfumes.
Let me start out this Rose Week with a disclaimer for any new or visiting readers, I’m a rose lover. I love rose perfumes for their versatility. A rose can take on many roles. There’s also the long history of the rose. It seems like since the beginning of time, humans… Continue reading | 1 Comment
When I recieved a sample of Be Tempted with a purchase, I was going to throw it out. This is a flanker to DKNY’s Be Delicious, one of the few perfumes that gives me headaches. I’ve tried the entire brand. There are many that I like but there’s one that I keep reaching for: Cuir de Russie. Like an amber, many heritage perfume… Continue reading | 1 Comment
Phuong Dang is a Vietnamese artist based in Singapore that now has added creative director for a line of perfumes to her CV. She’s extended her visual medium into that of olfactory.
When a new brand launches with many perfumes at once, it’s overwhelming. I haven’t tried all of the Phuong Dang perfumes (there are 10 in all). However, I was drawn to the note list (and the red bottle) of Liquid Red. I was expecting an oriental rose with some darkness, instead it’s a floral… Continue reading | 3 Comments
