It’s an Easter weekend miracle, I don’t have any celeb gossip!!!
Indie perfume line, D.S. & Durga, has paired up with the color-blocking abusing clothing retailer, J.Crew, to launch Homesteader’s Cologne. Homesteaders are the last thing I think about when I think of J.Crew. And it’s inspired by Big Sur containing notes of eucalyptus, sage brush and kelp.

Here are the perfumes that I found myself wearing the most during winter 2012/13.
12. Serge Lutens Fille en Aiguilles – This is one of those predictable winter fragrances on the list. That doesn’t take away from its perfection. Here’s my review. $140 at Beautyhabit.
11. April Aromatics Bohemian Spice – This is a thick, spicy earthy fragrance that smells amazing on skin and on scarves. Complex and comforting. Here’s my review. €189 at April Aromatics
Mainstream Monday: Sniffing a Popular Perfume
One doesn’t really expect innovation or even quality from a celeb perfume, but I must say that for the price David Beckham Homme isn’t too shabby. A lot of guys are buying equally as boring designer fragrances that cost much more.
David Beckham Homme opens with “fresh” citrus that I’ve smelled in other mainstream masculines. It’s Chinese 5 Spice with the lemon-spice Szechuan pepper and ginger. It’s spicy fresh.
