The Lipstick League – week of 1.16.16

Question of the Week: What sort of beauty trends do you predict will be popular in 2017?

EauMG’s Answer: Oh, you can read my predictions here. I’m predicting shimmer, glitter and less matte; smarter skincare products and gadgets. What do you think will be big in 2017?

EauMG’s 2015 List – The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

2015 was a year of so many changes for me. I mean, I moved across the country. This takes some adjustment. We live in a different region. We have different jobs. Even our possessions are different because we got rid of mostly everything before the big ‘ole transcontinental move. This year has been such a blur. I can’t remember what happened or didn’t happen because so much happened.

Capsule Show 2015

The Lipstick League – week of 8.17.15

Question of the Week: What do you think of the current ‘90s revival in beauty and fashion?

EauMG’s Answer: I love it. I’m getting older so I was going to be nostalgic for my “younger” days anyway. I also think it’s very flattering to see the young’uns thinking my generation was so darn cool. And in reality, we weren’t really. But, I think it’s flattering, cute and naive. And lip liner is back so I feel comfortable

Women’s Spring/Summer 2015 Fashion Trends + Perfume

I’m pairing women’s Spring/Summer ’15 fashion trends from the runway to perfumes. I noticed that this year it’s less about the 90’s throwbacks and more about the 70’s. Everything is all flowy and slightly messy. If you want to partake in trends but don’t look good in maxi-dresses or hate the idea of wearing mono colors, you can still participate, but more discreetly…with perfume.

Here are the perfumes that I’ve paired with popular women’s fashion trends of S/S 2015:
