I can’t believe it but I went through the month without buying any beauty-related products. Can you believe it? Because I barely can. I was faced with many temptations, but I stayed strong. I have so much back-stock right now. Plus, the holidays are coming up and I remember last year that every item I wanted went on sale in November. Basically, I’m trying to hold out to November to buy the things I need or want.
So, what did I buy this month? I ran out of concealer so I picked up some from MAC. Other than that, I tried to go back to “Low Buy” after my Hungary haul. I also ended up re-ordering some things from The Ordinary. I was doing good and then had a splurge on the last weekend on the month buying an Ormonde Jayne travel set, Mugler Angel Muse and a La Prairie toner. Oh, well.
April flew on by. I was sick with the flu, lost in projects and just dealing with annoyances left and right. I did have some fun which led to a Low-Buy Relapse (again).
I relapsed in March with my Low-Buy so I made it more of a goal in April. This wasn’t easy. My friend was in town for an EXO concert¹ (and my slightly early birthday celebration). We went to all the k-beauty stores and they were filled with temptations. I bought a Mamonde
I went nuts buying clothes so I tried to restrict myself on the beauty purchases. I ran out of cleanser so I bought Glyderm Gentle Cleanser and Lalun Naturals Winter Rose Oil Cleanser. So far, I’m loving both. Being that it’s colder, I don’t air dry my hair as often because I feel like I’ll freeze to death. I bought Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Thermal Setting Spritz.
