TokyoMilk Dark Tainted Love EDP Perfume Review

TokyoMilk Tainted Love

I feel like I should mention TokyoMilk perfumes more on EauMG. I mean, they retail for under $40, usually smell good and have cool packaging. Alas, I forget about them (for no good reason).

Tainted Love opens with bright, tart citrus with a crispness from tea leaves. The smoky, rubbery vanilla and tea in this reminds me of a more “cheerful” version of Bvlgari Black. Tainted Love is like a smoky tea with the addition of the sort of vanilla in

Eating Crow – October 2014

Kawanabe crow

I had said in my 6th Blogiversary post that I’d like to start doing a feature where I revisit perfumes to see if my “eaupinions” have changed. I said I wasn’t afraid to eat crow…and I’m not.

More Stuff I Want: New Tokyomilk Parfums Travel Candles

tmcandlesLook more stuff that I want! What a surprise! ( I can’t wait to get this 1st house stuff settled so I can go back to purchasing my special little items). Tokyomilk Parfums now have 6 ounce travel candles in 18 wonderful fragrances. Each come in a cute tin with adorable packaging/graphics. They are all in Tokyomilk perfume fragrances and I have been very pleased with… Continue reading | 1 Comment

TokyoMilk Waltz EDP Perfume Review

TokyoMilk Waltz Parfum is a clean and fresh floral that is perfect for spring.

At first spritz it is both energetic and sweet. It smells slightly like raw honey, but not in a sickly sweet or sticky way. It really balances the green and floral notes. What stands out the most in this stage is the linden. It smells like linden honey. The heart is like linden, lime and a bouquet of roses. Then it’s wisteria (which I love in perfumery). This wisteria reminds me of white flowers and kiwi… Continue reading | 2 Comments

TokyoMilk Ex Libris EDP Perfume Review

Tokyo Milk Parfum in Ex Libris isn’t what I expected but perhaps that is a good thing! It’s a bright, fresh fig fragrance.

Ex Libris manages to smell like earthy, woodsy fig trees while having the brightness of white florals and a dash of cardamom. The cardamom is a beautiful addition to this perfume. There’s a milkiness to the fig leaf without this fragrance smelling sweet. The heart is greens and a fresh, lemon-y magnolia. The dry-down is a woodsy fig, white floral, spices with the staying powder of a crisp… Continue reading | 1 Comment
