Tauer PHI Une Rose de Kandahar is a perfume inspired by roses grown in Afghanistan. Being that it is a perfume containing actual roses from Kandahar, availability is rather “iffy” with this one due to the harvest and logistics of getting rose oil out of the region. Because of the name and the emphasis of the use of Kandahar rose, I expected a really rosey-rose fragrance. Phi is a rose fragrance but there is much more to it.

Jennifer hands her the lip gloss and they share tales of weekend escapades and awkward dates with boys they don’t even like. They hide in a stall and smoke Virginia Slims. Gloss covered cigarette butts go down the toilet with… Continue reading | 10 Comments
It’s very rare for a perfume to “naturally” tell you a story. So many perfumes are without a soul try to replicate the success of last year’s blockbuster. The best perfumes in my mind are the ones that tell you a personalized story, one that maybe you’ll be the only one to hear. As soon as Tableu de Parfums Miriam touched my… Continue reading | 11 Comments
