Question of the Week: What’s your favorite summer lip color?

EauMG’s Answer: Lol, all of them. You guys know that I have a lipstick problem. You can see that in my Instagram Stories. In the summer, I’ll wear anything. Some of my favorites are oranges, orange-reds, yellow-based browns, mauves, magentas, sparkling lip gloss…you see, all of it! However, I have been drawn to jelly/sheer lip shades recently. Question of the Week: What beauty product makes you excited for summer?

EauMG’s Answer: Colorful makeup. Yes, I wear colorful makeup all year whenever I’m in the mood. But, I love how makeup brands launch bolder, more saturated colors in the summer. This summer a lot of brands are doing yellows and magentas and I love it. And yes, I love the typical “summery” combos of bronzes and teals/blues. It’s fun.

A lot of people do “Anti-Hauls” on Youtube. If you aren’t familiar with these, these are videos where people talk about what they aren’t buying. With so many launches, I love the premise of this. It gives us a reason to talk about what’s new without actually participating in this makeup economy of “BUT THIS LIMITED EDITION THING!”. Here’s my version, sans video. It’s summer! I’m loving it. Usually I complain about the heat and grime but not this year. I’m really feeling it.

June was a great month. I started a class at Columbia. I’ve been taking myself to museums and galleries. It was Pride. Life has been rather stress-free and my skin is looking great. I can’t complain about anything.
