Rose Week 2014
As you should know by now, I’m a rose lover. I love the versatility of this timeless floral. Roses are fluid. Roses can be anything. On my fragrance journey, I first fell for roses by falling for “dirty” roses, animalic roses. I liked the “badboy” roses. And I still like roses with an edge. I’m sure that many of you are tired of the summer and tired of the heat. In the Seattle area, we have very mild summers. As I’m typing this it is 63º and overcast. However, this past weekend we had a heatwave, temps were in the 90s. This is miserable when you live life without A/C. This type of heat causes my fragrance tastes to change. Week of January 16th-23rd
How badly I want a jacket like the one Aretha Franklin is wearing! What an amazing cut!
This week was low key for me. I went shopping yesterday but didn’t come home with anything! The fragrances I wanted to buy were sold out and I’m still not loving the spring makeup collections. Today, I’m spending my wonderful weekend cleaning out our creepy basement. What fun!

I have limited Strange Invisible Perfumes exposure. I’ve been too busy dwelling into DSH Perfumes natural blends and the less expensive thrills of LUSH. Finally, I’ve gotten around to sampling the natural perfume line, Strange Invisible. There’s a few that I like, Fire and Cream being one of them.
