Oh, October…I had a terrible cold that left me feeling awful for weeks and unable to smell anything. I went to LUSH and picked up a bath bomb and the Dirty Springwash in hopes of making my head “open up” some. I also bought a small bottle of Lust because I could smell it. (And I also wonder how long it’ll be around with the launch of the new stuff). I also bought the NARS x Man Ray Noire et Blanche Audacious Lipstick Set
In case you didn’t know, last month I went to Budapest on a vacation. We had a great time looking at architecture and drinking wine. But, you know me. I’m obsessed with skincare (and everything else). So, of course I took the time to check out drugstores and beauty stores. I’m embarrassed to even post what I bought because I went crazy. I blame the fact that my hotel was next to a DM Drogerie (one of my favorite stores).
Oh, June, I did some damage. I bought Edward Bess makeup. I also bought 2 Anastasia Beverly Hills lip glosses because they were 50% off and they are my favorite lip gloss formula. I went to Harmon and they had the Andalou Rose Collection marked down to like 75% off. I picked up a few things that I like. How could I resist?!
April flew on by. I was sick with the flu, lost in projects and just dealing with annoyances left and right. I did have some fun which led to a Low-Buy Relapse (again).
I relapsed in March with my Low-Buy so I made it more of a goal in April. This wasn’t easy. My friend was in town for an EXO concert¹ (and my slightly early birthday celebration). We went to all the k-beauty stores and they were filled with temptations. I bought a Mamonde
For the past few years, I’ve made a list of my favorite beauty items from the year. These aren’t “new” products, even though some of them may be. These are products that are “new to me” products in 2016 that I fell in love with.
