The Lipstick League – Week of 6.25.18

Question of the Week: What’s your favorite summer lip color?

EauMG’s Answer: Lol, all of them. You guys know that I have a lipstick problem. You can see that in my Instagram Stories. In the summer, I’ll wear anything. Some of my favorites are oranges, orange-reds, yellow-based browns, mauves, magentas, sparkling lip gloss…you see, all of it! However, I have been drawn to jelly/sheer lip shades recently. Helena Rubinstein Pink Champagne

For the past few years rose gold has really had a moment. I’ve seen some people online say they are sick of it. But, I think that’s like saying one is sick of gold or silver. Rose gold is merely a neutral color that’s popular for a reason – it’s flattering. It’s the sort of shade that seems to work on a variety of complexions. It’s like wearing a soft candlelit glow. EYES: There are 2 Sparkling Eye Colors for fall, Posh (deep cranberry shimmer) and Fixation (deep warm green with gold shimmer). There’s… Continue reading | 6 Comments

I’m a lipstick kind of gal. However, my lips usually get really chapped in the cold. Pigment rich red lipstick does not cover chapped lips very well. Instead it looks like smearing pigment on to the shedded skin of a Bearded Dragon. Everytime my lips get all messed up looking, I use an intensive treatment at night and during the… Continue reading | 5 Comments
