Serge Lutens La Myrrhe EDP Perfume Review

Serge Lutens La Myrrhe

“So, what’s your type?”

It’s something, as far as people go, that I didn’t really ask myself. I like clever, funny folks. I like people that are going to get my corny puns. I like a person that may even laugh at that corny pun. But, when it comes to perfume, I have a type. I have a few types.

“My type? I like Greens so bitter they’ll make your nose bleed. I like Aldehydes as big as the hair on The Porter Wagoner Show and as frigid as Joan Crawford. And… Continue reading | 13 Comments

EauMG’s Most Worn Perfume – Summer 2015 Edition

Most Worn Perfumes 15

When I was putting together this list of the most worn perfumes of summer 2015, I almost felt like I had some sort of amnesia. This summer felt so long. Thanks to my Favorites posts, I had some idea of what I wore the most. And also those posts helped me realize that there wasn’t something wrong with me or my memory. Serge Lutens Rahät Loukoum is a really sweet fragrance. It opens with a slightly waxy almond cherry. Rahat Loukoum stays in this Luden’s Wild Cherry Cough Drop meets almond scented candle territory much longer than I would want it too. Once that fades, I finally start to enjoy wearing it. Rahat Loukoum becomes this sweet, almost mushroom-y (white caps) musk with this… Continue reading | 5 Comments

The Lipstick League – week of 11.10.14

Question of the Week: What’s your go-to party makeup look? Smoky eyes? Cat-eye liner? Bright lips?

EauMG’s Answer: Wow, I’m so flattered that you think I party 🙂 Honestly, it really depends on the occasion and the time of year. This time of the year, I’m most likely going to do minimal eye makeup and really dark lips. Other times of the year, I may do a matte red lipstick or bright coral with cat-eye liner. I
