Parfums de Rosine has an entire collection of Ballerina perfumes and from this title you can probably guess that now the collection consists of four perfumes. And since this Parfums de Rosine, all of the perfumes are centered around roses. From the flowers to its tutu, the entire theme of Parfums de Rosine Ballerina No. 4 is “white”.
Ballerina No. 4 is a white floral that is heavy with the rose. The opening is bergamot with a spiced, peppery rose. Within… Continue reading
Mainstream Monday – Sniffing Popular Perfumes
This Monday I’m reviewing three flankers. What is a flanker? It’s a perfume that shares some attributes with a perfume that already exists (notes or even as much creative license as only sharing a name or similar bottle).

So, of course, I expected a floral and I expected for that floral to have a lot of roses and peonies. Guess what? Delina… Continue reading | 6 Comments

During this time of boredom I found myself sniffing Bond No. 9 perfumes and hoping that I wouldn’t tumble over these colorful class bottles wearing exaggerated shoulder pads.¹ Success! No embarrassing accidents at the nice department store! The sales associate approached me, which I wasn’t in the mood for because I was going to waste her time. I wasn’t going to buy a Bond No. 9 that day (or any day, I don’t own any). Long story short, she… Continue reading
