Parfums de Marly Delina Perfume Review

Parfums de Marly Delina

Do you ever see a perfume bottle and already know what it smells like before even trying it? I feel like the packaging of Parfums de Marly Delina basically says it all. This ornate pastel pink packaging looks like it belongs in Marie-Antoinette’s apartment. It’s one of those bottles that is presenting itself as traditionally FEMININE as it possibly can.  So, of course, I expected a floral and I expected for that floral to have a lot of roses and peonies. Guess what? Delina… Continue reading | 6 Comments

Arielle Shoshana Perfume Review

Arielle Shoshana

Arielle Shoshana is a niche perfume boutique in the DC Metro area. I haven’t been there but I’ve only heard wonderful things about it. I keep saying that the next time I’m in Baltimore, I’ll stop on by D.C., but I haven’t yet. But, most importantly, Arielle Shoshana is a person. Jul et Mad Terasse a St – Germain EDP Perfume Review

Jul et Mad Terrasse a St Germain

I’m not wild about citrus fragrances. I don’t dislike them but I do find myself not going out of my way to try them. So, when I had heard that Jul et Mad Terasse à St-Germain was the”citrus” from the line, my immediate response was “Oh, I can wait on this one”. The reviews started popping up on some of my favorite blogs and seemed that most bloggers were falling in love with the other two, Amour de Palazzo and… Continue reading | 4 Comments

Hermes Jour d’Hermes EDP Perfume Review

Hermes Jour d'Hermes

I tend to like Hermès perfumes. They’re my sophisticated yet “safe” daily wear perfumes. I haven’t loved them all at first sniff. This is one of the reasons that I’ve kept sampling Jour d’Hermès. It’s a year later and I still can’t decided what I think about this one. Some days I think it is a genius “fantasy garden” floral perfume. Other days I think that it would make the best smelling shampoo in the world.

Jour d’Hermes is a fresh fragrance with a sulfuric grapefruit… Continue reading | 7 Comments
