1980’s Fashion – Get the Makeup Look of Carol Alt

Mademoiselle Carol Alt cover

Most of the time when I think of 1980’s makeup, I cringe. I think about terrible contouring and frosty finishes and dry, lifeless skin. But, it seems that most magazine covers in the 80’s had great makeup like this 1981 issue of Mademoiselle magazine featuring model Carol Alt (who is still unbelievably gorgeous). This is an 80’s makeup look that one could wear today…and not to a costume party. I love Carol’s brows, eye makeup and glowing complexion. Here’s what I did to… Continue reading | 8 Comments

More of the 1960’s: Get the Makeup Look of Tina Aumont

1960's Makeup look of Tina Aumont

Tina is so young here! She has to be under 20 in this picture. She grew up fast, getting married at 17. Anyways, I like this look. It’s seem to be what people are going for these days. This look works for most people, but I do think it does look the best on complexion similar to Tina’s. Here’s what I did to achieve a modern day version of Tina’s look:

FACE: I evened out my complexion with
