More of the 1960’s: Get the Makeup Look of Tina Aumont

1960's Makeup look of Tina Aumont

Tina is so young here! She has to be under 20 in this picture. She grew up fast, getting married at 17. Anyways, I like this look. It’s seem to be what people are going for these days. This look works for most people, but I do think it does look the best on complexion similar to Tina’s. Here’s what I did to achieve a modern day version of Tina’s look:

DSH Perfumes American Beauty EDP Perfume Review

Last week, Ashleigh at Perfume-Smellin’ Things talked about perfumes that have shaped our past. Many of us smell a scent like Cristalle and are transported back in time or reminded of a loved one. Parfums des Beaux Arts by DSH American Beauty is a scent that I was taken “back” by. I sniffed it and liked it but then it took me back to one of those “I got in trouble when…” childhood memories. So, it’s New Year’s Eve. I wanted to do an over the top disco inspired look, but this pick of Diana Dors is festive enough. And I’m staying home. That’s never stopped me before, but I’m just not feeling like it today. Don’t you think Diana looks blonder than usual in this pic? It’s verging on silver to match her top! Anyways, I do love this look. This is a look that does work well with lighter complexions and those with light brown, blonde, and even grey hair. Here’s what I… Continue reading | 10 Comments

More 1960’s Fashion: Get the Makeup Look of Ursula Andress

Ursula Andress Makeup Look

Ursula with black hair and I love it! I’m guessing this pic is from the 60’s or maybe the early 70’s. I can’t find many pictures as Ursula Andress as a brunette so it’s difficult for me to “date” this one. Anyways, I love a dramatic eye makeup look. Who doesn’t? This makeup look works for most complexion but I think it would be amazing on medium to dark complexions.  Here is what I used to get a similar look to Ursula’s… Continue reading | 9 Comments
