Chloe Nomade EDT Perfume Review

Chloe Nomade EDT perfume review

Mainstream Monday – Sniffing a Popular Perfume

When it comes to Chloé perfumes, I don’t really have an opinion one way or another. When I do, they discontinue whatever I like (such as Love, Chloé). Everything else has been a rose-y flanker that basically define “generic perfume” smells. It’s not that those are bad; I’m actually genuinely in awe of their line for creating things that are so generic… Continue reading | 10 Comments

Le Labo Rose 31 Perfume Review

Le Labo Rose 31

ROSE WEEK 2019 – The Cedar Rose

It’s Rose Week on EauMG! This is the annual celebration of rose-centric perfumes! This week I’m reviewing 5 fragrances that display a different aspect of rose perfumes.

I’m always surprised when I hear or read reviews that Le Labo Rose 31 isn’t a rose. Because to me, it’s very much a rose! Carolina Herrera Good Girl Perfume Review

Carolina Herrera Good Girl

Mainstream Monday – Sniffing a Popular Perfume

I tried to jump right in and review Carolina Herrera Good Girl, but I realize I have a few things to say that aren’t directly related to how the perfume smells. Yves Rocher Naturelle Osmanthus Perfume Review

Yves Rocher Naturelle Osmanthus

Mainstream Monday – Sniffing a Popular Perfume

I try to review as many Yves Rocher fragrances that I can. Why? Well, overall, I like the brand. I think they’re good for the money. Then, in the U.S. there are no physical Yves Rocher stores. You can order online which means that you are blind-buying fragrances (a practice I typically discourage). And finally, there are few reviews of Yves Rocher fragrances in English. Basically, I review Yves Rocher like it’s a public service announcement.

Wildfox Perfume Review

Wildfox perfume

Mainstream Monday – Sniffing a Popular Perfume

Wildfox is a casual ready-to-wear women’s clothing line with that “California cool” aesthetic of distressed denim and snarky typographic t-shirts/sweatshirts that are borderline offensive depending on the audience or manner or wear, but as our society has already ingrained in us, “conventionally” pretty people can get away with a lot.¹ Anyway, the brand licensed a perfume with Revlon/Elizabeth Arden a few years ago. The note list sounds interesting and the bottle is really pretty.

Wildfox is a weird one. It opens with a… Continue reading | 2 Comments
