Hidden in a difficult to find tropical oasis in Midtown East is a Caron boutique. The Caron boutique hides above an ordinary Express in a Phyto Universe. Here are my reviews and color swatches of Everyday Minerals Mineral Eyeshadow in various shades of pink, plum, and purple.

1 – Jane Eyre Shimmer Eyeshadow – A light beige with dusty rose undertones and silver shimmer. I like this color as a base shade. Pigment applies evenly. I don’t know if this is a limited edition shade or not.

Powder Room: Papier Poudre Rachel Face Powder Sheets

I bought Papier Poudré Face Powder Sheets because look at the packaging. It makes me feel more regal than my reality. So, what are these little things? It’s a tiny book of butcher paper that’s dusted with powder. So unlike, “oil blotting sheets” that take oil off of the face, these do that while lightly applying powder.

Benefit is known for their catchy, kitschy packaging, names and advertising. Everyone has to admit that is why we gave them a try to begin with. If you still haven’t tried any of Benefit’s products then you should. Not all of their products are great, they can be expensive and hokey. But most of them are nice.
