EauMG’s February 2017 Favorites

West Village flowers

February is that month that flies by but I never complain about it. I want the dead of winter to fly by. I don’t want it to last longer.

It was a dull month. There were mid-terms and projects due. The weather was spotty. One day it’d be so springlike and perfect and the next it would be snowing. It was confusing.

My mom randomly showed up for a day. I wake up and… Continue reading | 7 Comments

CARGO Essential Lip Color & Lip Gloss Review & FOTD

I’m finally feeling like playing in makeup again. I mean, I’ve always loved playing in makeup. I guess what I mean is that I finally feel like posting makeup reviews/looks again. I feel like *talking* about makeup again. I feel like talking about colors and textures and pretty potions. Who knows, maybe another vintage inspired makeup tutorial will show up on EauMG again?

1960’s Fashion- Get the Makeup Look of Leslie Caron

Leslie Caron

Leslie Caron is a talented woman that is still acting today. If you aren’t doing anything this weekend, watch Lili but only if you aren’t scared of puppets. FACE: I applied Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Foundation in Clair Beige. Under my eyes, I blended Neutrogena Healthy Skin Concealer in Fair. With the brush provided, I applied Lancôme Colour Ideal Pressed Powder in Medium 20. High on the apples… Continue reading | 6 Comments

1920’s Fashion – Get the Makeup Look of Greta Nissen

Greta Nissen 1925

I love this 1925 cover of actress Greta Nissen. It’s such a “doll” look. Adorable. Greta was one of those talented Hollywood actresses whose career was ruined by talkies. (She had a strong Norwegian accent that Hollywood didn’t want). Here’s what I did to achieve a similar 1920’s inspired look:

FACE: I applied Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Foundation in Beige Claire and blended with my fingers. Under my eyes, I applied Covergirl Simply Ageless Concealer in Corrector and blended with my fingers… Continue reading | 6 Comments
