Bvlgari Omnia Paraiba Perfume Review

Bvlgari Omnia Paraiba

MAINSTREAM MONDAY – SNIFFING A POPULAR PERFUME

I know that I kvetch a lot about the Bvlgari Omnia flankers. One of my favorite designer perfumes was the original Omnia. Throughout the years, the brand has kept making flankers and got rid of the original! That’s like having a successful pop band go on tour without ANY of its original members! But, when I think of Omnia as a subcollection of Bvlgari perfumes, I have no complaints. Overall, I enjoy all of the Omnias. They’re… Continue reading | 2 Comments

Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier Fraiche Passiflore EDT Perfume Review

Maitre Parfumeur Fraiche Passiflore

I don’t have issues with fruity fragrances. I just have issues with finding fruity fragrances that I want to wear for more than an hour. I like the idea of them but get fed up with them rather quickly. However, there are a few that I could wear all day. Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier Fraiche Passiflore is one of those.

Fraiche Passiflore oepns with fresh stone fruits and berries. It reminds me of raspberries and apricots with an icy coolness. With time Fraiche Passiflore gets more… Continue reading | 6 Comments

Lili Bermuda Passion Flower & Petals EDP Perfume Reviews

I’ve reviewed a few Lili Bermuda feminines before. This line is inspired by Bermuda. Here’s my reviews of Passion Flower and Petals.

Lili Bermuda Passion Flower

Passion Flower: Notes include gardenia, passion flower and mimosa.

Passion Flower opens with a heady gardenia with citrus. It reminds me of Givenchy Amarige “lite”. It’s a big, boisterous floral with gardenia, mimosa, tuberose…There’s a hint of fuzzy peach. With time, Passion Flower begins to wear as blue cheese gardenia and peach (which is a good thing). Passion Flower is what I’d call a “mature” fruity-floral.

I recommend… Continue reading | 6 Comments

NEST Fine Fragrances & A Review

My favorite home fragrance line has finally done it; they’ve finally made a fine personal fragrance line. The Fine Fragrance line consists of 3 perfumes that come in a 3.4 oz spray, rollerball (about .3 oz) and body cream.

The Fine Fragrance line is inspired by the artwork of 18th century artist Mary Delany and her “Paper Mosaiks”, botanical artworks meticulously created with varying shades and textures of paper. The noses behind the scents are Christophe Laudamiel (Estee Lauder Youth Dew Amber Nude, Michael Kors Island) and Jerome Epinette (Byredo Pulp, Fresh Cannabis Rose). I rarely comment on packaging… Continue reading | 7 Comments

Vero Profumo Rubj EDP Perfume Review

Vero Profumo Rubj (say “ruby”) EDP is a night-blooming tuberose, tropical fruity floral. It’s hot and humid with juicy, equator loving fruits. I’m not a dancer and I’m not even interested in going out dancing for fear of hurting myself physically and/or embarrassing myself beyond repair. But, I love the idea of getting dressed up to go dancing, red dress and matching lipstick, seductive opera gloves, and cha-cha heels. Rubj EDP is like my “salsa dancing” fantasy scent in luxury perfume form. It’s hot, humid, and the fruits… Continue reading | 8 Comments
