Ormonde Jayne Prive Perfume Review

There’s a lot of reasons to be upset with the uber-wealthy but I think one reason that most of us can agree on is that most of the uber-wealthy do very boring things with their money. I am sure that all of us have sat around, even those of us that only gamble by buying perfumes unsniffed, fantasizing about what we would do if we won the lottery. Once we get past the things that could make us very comfortable, we can fantasize about what we would do with the extra or what we’d… Continue reading | 2 Comments

Memo Paris Inle Iris Perfume Review

Memo Inle Iris

Years ago, when I tried (and fell in love with) Memo Shams Oud, the brand was impossible to get in the U.S. I had a kind “mule” bring it back from Paris. Fast-forward. Now the brand is everywhere in the United States! This is good. Accessibility is a wonderful thing. Mugler Les Exceptions Woodissime Perfume Review

Mugler Woodissime

Like many other designer brands, Thierry Mugler has also launched a line of “exclusive” (AKA more expensive) line-up of perfumes sold at select locations and costs a lot more than their other fragrances. Coolife Le Sixieme EDP Perfume Review

Coolife Le Sixieme

PURPLE FLOWERS WEEK 2017

It’s an annual tradition on EauMG to feature “purple flowers” on the week of Nowruz/Vernal Equinox. “Purple flowers” are what I call flowers that (usually) have purple blossoms and bloom in spring: lilacs, violets, iris, heliotrope, hyacinth and wisteria (when I’m feeling generous). These are the sort of florals that make me think of spring. Plus, it gives me an excuse to talk about some of my favorite floral notes.

Coolife Le Sixième was instant love. I’m not talking about infatuation. I’m talking… Continue reading

Zoologist Panda EDP Perfume Review

Zoologist Panda Perfume

Zoologist Perfumes is a Toronto-based niche perfume line with as you can see, adorable packaging. The line currently consists of three perfumes. With my introduction to the line, I wanted to try my favorite animal offered, Panda. In general, I really connect with giant pandas because we both eat all of the time and wear too much eye makeup.

Panda is opens like a water garden and leather. It’s dank, green and slightly dirty. The osmanthus in this is so leathery which usually isn’t an aspect of… Continue reading | 2 Comments
