Lili Bermuda SunKiss Perfume Review

Lili Bermuda Sunkiss

The newest perfume by Lili Bermuda is a perfume inspired by “The subtle and delicately sweet perfume evokes the wholesome summer days on a beautiful Bermuda beach“. It’s one of those scents to wear in the summer or to wear when you want be reminded of warm, sunny days.

SunSiss opens with juicy mango. As promised from the note list, SunKiss starts to resemble a fancy orange cream pop. It’s a bitter orange blossom and orange juice with vanilla cream. It dries down to the sort of… Continue reading | 5 Comments

Providence Perfume Co. Tangerine Thyme Natural Cologne Review

Providence Perfume Co. Tangerine Thyme

Summer’s officially over and Providence Perfume Co. has launched a limited edition citrus cologne. I used to associate citrus with hot weather, but I have since realized they’re perfect for “day wear” during any season. In fact, I seem to appreciate the uplifting quality of citrus a lot more in the dead of winter just as much as I do in the sweaty months of summer.

Hiram Green Dilettante Natural Perfume Review

Hiram Green Dilettante

Hiram Green is a small line of natural, artisanal fragrances that I’d describe as “slow fragrances”. I compare them to Slow Food where you can taste the difference because of the ingredients used and the time put into them. This isn’t a brand that launches a new fragrance every six weeks. Bruno Fazzolari Lampblack EDP Perfume Review

Bruno Fazzolari Lampblack

According to the brand (and other retailers), Lamblack by Bruno Fazzolari is the brand’s most popular perfume in regards to sales. According to perfume people, I’d say it’s the brand’s most popular perfume. Lampblack is a perfume inspired by India ink. The fragrance wears like soot and oil-burning lamps.

Lampblack reminds me of worn leather. And ink. Lampblack is dark and smoky with glimmers of light. It opens with citrus and a dry, spicy black pepper. It flickers between citrus oils and soot, much… Continue reading | 4 Comments

Aether Arts Love for 3 Oranges Perfume Review

Aether Arts Love of 3 Oranges

Aether Arts Love for 3 Oranges is a perfume inspired by Prokofiev’s “A Love for Three Oranges”, an opera based on an Italian fairy tale that premiered in the early 1920’s. This scent is like being immersed into an orange grove. It’s the fruit, flowers and trees.

Love for 3 Orange opens really does open with juicy oranges. This perfume reverses the usual order of a birth of an orange. It gives us fruit then the orange blossoms and lastly, tree leaves. This… Continue reading | 4 Comments
