In comparison to June 2016, July was a less busy month; it’s the height of “lazy summertime”. I started feeling better and there was no traveling. It was a lazy month but that’s what I wanted. No regrets.

February is always a hard month for me. It’s the month where I get fed up with everything from the weather to my life, etc. I’m in a pact where I’m not allowed to do anything drastic in February (like get a divorce, quit a job, move or get a pet). January was an eventful month. I entertained. I was entertained. I lived through a blizzard. I got a lot of stuff done.

August was one of those months that felt like it was just dragging along. I was so over the heat and was sick of hiding away in my A/C bunker. I felt guilt for being hostile towards summer when I know winter is going to be terrible but really, summer is abusive and I’m going to complain. As the kids says these days, “Sorry not sorry”.

July was an uneventful and much welcomed “chill” month for us. After the past few months, we’ve needed some time to recover. We’re also not use to heat and humidity after being spoiled by mild Seattle weather, so we often feel like taking it easy on the weekends (easy meaning hanging indoors with a/c). I hate complaining about the heat when I know that winter is going to be brutal, but we’re not used to extreme weather. We’re wimps.
