You guys, I’ve been meaning to post this for two weeks now and have been busy. Most of the time, I hate putting together a Mother’s Day gift guide (for many reasons).¹ The main reason being: How absurd is it to make a gift guide for such a huge demographic? I hate Mother’s Day gift guides (usually) because they make women look so uniform and well, boring. Most Mother’s Day gift guides are pitiful and borderline offensive. But, anyway.
To make a long story short, I had a bad experience with gin that left me avoiding it for years. Unlike peppermint schnapps¹, I was never angry with gin. Gin is like a perfume. I thought March was going to be a great month but it ended up being a real doozy.
In the beginning of the month we went to Orlando for a few days to enjoy sunshine and Disney World. It was spring break, so it was packed. It was an OK trip, but it was exhausting as well. I suppose most trips are.
I love making gift guides. If there was a master’s program in it, I’d go into student debt for it. Here’s my suggestions for Father’s Day gifts. Or as my husband says, “Victoria Jent’s Guide to Sh*t Your Dad Doesn’t Want”. He’s wrong. He’s always wrong. Lots of dads read my blog. Lots of dads want to smell good.
