Recently I ordered a few High Voltage Cosmetics Eyeshadow samples. I can not resist a BOGO! Here I am reviewing and swatching 4 Shimmery Eyeshadows in what I’m calling “romantic shimmer” shades. These colors are soft and pretty. Of course, they can be paired with bold colors for an edgier look, but I wanted to put these all together because they are just pretty, so romantic and candlelit to me.
Here are my reviews and color swatches of Everyday Minerals Mineral Eyeshadow in various shades of pink, plum, and purple.
1 – Jane Eyre Shimmer Eyeshadow – A light beige with dusty rose undertones and silver shimmer. I like this color as a base shade. Pigment applies evenly. I don’t know if this is a limited edition shade or not.
I’m reviewing and swatching 6 Everyday Minerals Loose Mineral Cheek Colors in coral shades with various finishes.
F. Matte Blush in Nick Nack – A matte, light warm peach (pink with lots of yellow undertones). This is a very natural looking shade on me. In fact, it barely shows up, but this is a good thing with certain makeup looks.
E. Matte Blush in Weekend Getaway – A matte dusty peach for light to medium skin tones.
D. Matte Blush
Here are more of the samples that I purchased of Alima Pure Minerals eye products after reading reviews and getting recommendations from Lovely Android and Scenthive. These are all light, neutral colors. These aren’t the most “fun” shades of eyeshadow but I’ll guarantee that I’ll use them the most.
I’ve been late to jump on the mineral makeup wagon. After reading rave review from Lovely Android and Scenthive, I knew that I should give Alima Pure Minerals a try. I ordered samples from the Portland based company. Each sample comes in a small plastic container with an adorable screen printed silhouette of a songbird in a metallic bronze finish. I ordered many products. Amazingly, many of the colors work for me. They are beautiful “everyday” colors. Here are my “greens”. OK, they all aren’t green but they work very well together.
