I’m a Revlon lipstick fan. Over the past few years, they have really stepped up their game. The colors have always been fantastic but the formula felt really heavy and there was a terrible flavor/scent. That’s all gone now and I own many Revlon lipsticks. My most recent purchase is Revlon Matte Lipstick in Stormy Pink 011.

Alice is sporting quite the look here with those interesting bangs. I may not like the hair but I do like a classic, matte red lipstick look. Here’s what I did to create a 1930’s inspired Alice Faye makeup look…sans the goofy poofy hair:

FACE: I applied Shiseido Stick Foundation in 020 with my fingers. With my Bobbi Brown Concealer Brush, I applied e.l.f

A simple red lip is easy and always makes a lady look pulled together no matter the decade. This classic look works for many complexions. And I love Olive Ann’s “tucked”  bob with Marcel waves. Olive Ann had ridiculously long hair (that she often draped over her nude body while modeling) but in this pick she looks very 20’s flapper with the tucked hair and long strand of beads. A very glam look for this Phantom of the Opera star.

So what? Sure, this pic has been photo-rouged but I love Miss Gabrielle’s look. Who doesn’t want the look of Coco Chanel?

FACE: Coco is porcelain perfect in this pic. We can’t get this smooth look without the help of somebody that is very handy with a computer 🙂 First, apply concealer where needed.
