L’Occitane Terre de Lumiere Perfume Review

L'Occitane Terre de Lumiere

Mainstream Monday – Sniffing a Popular Perfume

L’Occitane Terre de Lumière is a perfume inspired by the Golden Hour. It’s meant to represent warmth, radiance and a diffused glow. I’m going to say that L’Occitane achieved this with Terre de Lumiere. It’s a warm fragrance that reminds me of lazy summer “Golden Hours”.

Terre de Lumiere is like a “luminous gourmand”. It opens with bright bergamot that ventures slightly into Earl Grey tea territory. I also pick up something that is like dried apricots. There’s… Continue reading

Rose Week 2018 – A Cosmetic Rose

It’s Rose Week on EauMG! This is the annual celebration of rose-centric perfumes! This week I’m reviewing 5 fragrances that display a different aspect of rose perfumes.

The Pivoine Flora scent is described as an “intense, green floral structure” with peony and magnolia with a musky, woody finish.

Here’s an interview with Roja Dove with the perfumer of the EDP, Dorothee Piot, on YouTube:

L’Occitane Immortelle Brightening Moisture Cream Review

L’Occitane Immoretelle Brightening Moisture Cream is a lightweight gel-cream that claims to lighten dark spots, moisturize, and firm skin with organic immortelle essential oil, daisy flower, and fig. I know this is a bit sad, but the only reason I like this cream is because I love the way it smells.

The formula is super lightweight for my normal to dry skin. This would make a good night cream for me in the summer or a day cream with sunscreen layered over it. It doesn’t… Continue reading | 5 Comments
