You guys, I’ve been meaning to post this for two weeks now and have been busy. Mainstream Monday – Sniffing a Popular Perfume
Since it’s launch in 2005, there have been many flankers and limited edition compositions of the now-cult-classic Mugler Alien. Like the patchouli-chocolate Angel, there’s just something people love about this over-the-top radiant jasmine in the purple scarab-esque bottle! I enjoy Alien but I have to be in the mood for it since it’s potent stuff (I can say the same about Angel too). I actually wear the more sheer version, Alien Eau Extraordinaire
Al Haramain is a Saudi perfume house founded in 1970. From what I understand, as of right now there isn’t a distributor in North America. However, the brand ships internationally.

Obsessive Oudh with notes of musk, amber and oud.
This is barnyard oud. It’s animalic and musky. It has blue cheese, mushroom and decay. There’s a dry, cedar-like aspect that if anything, really adds to the “barnyard-ness” of this perfume’s opening. It dries… Continue reading | 6 Comments
