The first month of the new year went really well. It was nice to get back into the “regular” routine AKA non-celebratory routine. We successfully survived the first month of 2015!

Most of the month was low-key. I spent a week in Hong Kong and that was totally awesome. It’s an amazing city. I feel fueled with inspiration and energy.

More 1960’s Fashion – Get the Makeup Look of Nancy Sinatra

One day this week I woke up wanting to wear Nancy Sinatra makeup. Go figure. I don’t really consider this “everyday” makeup, but it’s fun. And don’t you think that Nancy Sinatra looks like Lady Gaga in this pic? Here’s what I did to get this Nancy Sinatra inspired makeup look. Go-go boots are not included but highly recommended

FACE: I applied Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Foundation in Clair Beige. Under the eyes with a concealer brush, I blended Neutrogena Healthy Skin

1960’s Fashion: Get the Makeup Look of Gina Lollobrigida

I love this early 60’s look of the glamorous Gina Lollobrigida. Humphrey Bogart once said that “for sex appeal, Gina makes Marilyn Monroe look like Shirley Temple.” Wow. I love a man that prefers brunettes, like I needed another reason to love Humphrey Bogart. Speaking of the hair, love the hair color too. Makes me want to get a warm glaze.
