Week of January 23rd-30th
I hope everyone had a wonderful last week of January 2011. Many of you have spent it in total snopocalypse. Gals that wear bright, pale, or bold lipsticks should really invest in a lip scrub. There is nothing worse than a “statement” lip or an “understatement” lip with flakes. I waited too long before trying lip scrub products. Remember my Sara Happ review? Totally love the stuff. While at LUSH, I noticed these little lip scrubs and their little price tags. I had to give the LUSH Lip Scrub a try since I now love lip scrubs. Especially love them during the winter!

I wanted to love this product so badly. The tin is adorable and I love the fragrance and flavor of violets and violet candies. Unfortunately, this is not what I wanted it to be. The tin is very cute in person, Art Nouveau and adorable. However, I found it very difficult to open because it lacks a pronounced “slip”. I know that I am one of the few people on the planet that really loves this product. I also know that I am a fool for paying $22 for a lip balm so maybe that is one of the many reasons why people dislike this. I love this lip balm mainly for its smell.
