Hiram Green Voyage EDP Natural Perfume Review

Hiram Green Voyage

Voyage is a new limited edition natural perfume by Hiram Green that is inspired by India that’s “as opulent as Octopussy’s floating palace on Lake Pichola“. It resides in a place where fantasy meets reality. For me, Voyage brings to mind wonderful vintage perfumes of the early 1980’s. It’s glistening citrus, sumptuous spices and this amazing velvet-y amber base. It’s multi-layered and is one of those “they don’t make ’em like they used to” perfumes. But, oh yes, they do.

The Lipstick League – week of 11.2.15

Question of the Week: What are some of your must-haves (so far) from the Holiday 2015 collections?

These days 180 Ans is on sites like eBay for… Continue reading | 10 Comments

Parfums Lalun Phenomene Verte II Natural EDP Perfume Review

Parfums Lalun Phenomene Verte II

Parfums Lalun Phenomene Verte II is a limited edition, small batch perfume made from wildcrafted and wildgrown tinctures. Because of this, the final fragrance is highly individualized and consonantly evolving with age.

Phenomene Verte II is a musky, creamy floral. On my skin, it’s more of a buttery orris with a jasmine married to vetiver. It’s a warm, slightly powdery floral with a cool, grassy, green vetiver. Phenomene Verte II has an amazing dry-down of an outstanding sandalwood, rose and vanilla. The texture of this fragrance… Continue reading | 7 Comments

DSH Perfumes for The PLP Project: Peace, Love & Perfume Review

DSH Perfumes created three perfumes for The PLP Project, a celebration of the third anniversary of a Facebook fragrance group, Peace, Love and Perfume. A few indie perfumers were asked to participate. Each perfumer was asked to add their own twist to the following fragrance brief for three separate perfumes:

Peace perfumes were to be meditative, incense perfumes. Love perfumes were to be sexy and animalic. And Perfume was an individualized take on a classic eau de cologne.

DSH Perfumes Peace

Here’s DSH Perfumes take on the given brief… Continue reading | 2 Comments
