Bartenders in New York City area secretly fragrance connoisseurs.
Last summer I was at a swanky bar at a weird time. Somehow I had gotten the times incorrect for an early dinner and had time to kill. I was at the bar with another person and a very talkative bartender. Long story short, it’s New York City, so you never know how any awkward encounter will end up or who is at the bar with you. It ends up after a brief conversation that the bartender, The… Continue reading | 2 Comments
New York City is having one of those springs where it went from gloomy and mild to BAM blindingly bright 90º+. Hopefully we’ll be pleased for some spring-like days before it turns into summer. But, I can’t walk around like a human version of a Macy’s Holiday tree. However, I can wear perfumes that remind me of the decadence of the holidays. I… Continue reading | 4 Comments
O’Driu created a perfume inspired by the badass Italian comic book character Eva Kant of Diabolik. I don’t speak Italian so I really don’t know much about the comics but I have watched “Danger: Diabolik” more than a few times. When I heard about this perfume, I tried to keep myself from “creating” it in my head before sniffing. I wanted to give Pregoni’s interpretation of this anti-herione a fair chance, but that can be difficult. My scent imagination can’t be stopped… Continue reading | 2 Comments
