Question of the Week: What is the most you have paid for a mascara (and was it worth it)?
EauMG’s Answer: I’m going to tell you that I’m such a scrooge when it comes to mascara. Some of my favorite mascaras are cheapies from Essence. When you have pitiful, stumpy lashes like mine, it’s all the same. However, I have bought more expensive mascaras. I have bought Dior Diorshow and at one time

Question of the Week: Is base coat an essential step for you when wearing nail polish? If so, what are some of your favorites?
EauMG’s Answer: Yes, it is. My nails are weak and pathetic but I have found a HG nail kit from Trind that I love. I actually have limited experience with nail products, so what are some of your favorite base coats?

Last year I put together a post featuring my picks for the most popular Halloween costumes. Looking back at that post, I thought, “Hey, that was fun. I want to do another”. For the 2014 edition, I decided to focus on costumes that I like (AKA ones that would be fun to “scent”). So, I went to the online costume sites to see what is popular this year. Question of the Week: If you weren’t blogging about beauty, what would you be blogging about?
EauMG’s Answer: Oh, good question. At one time I had a home renovation blog and that was fun until the home renovation sucked out my soul and made me miserable. I could see myself blogging about textiles from around the globe and textile arts. Or something hyper-local like a city guide to Seattle just so I can talk about

Question of the Week – What are your favorite perfumes to wear in the fall?
EauMG’s Answer: Typically in the fall, I bust out rich ambers and a few gourmands. I haven’t even brought out my usual fall scents yet (I should do that today) because the weather has been rather mild. I’ve been wanting to wear Prada L’Eau Ambrée, Costume National Homme, Bvlgari Omnia and Mona di Orio Oud.
