I rarely ever review haircare products. Aside from skincare, is there anything else that really varies this much from person to person? We all have different needs and expectations. There’s also additional confounding factors like your plumbing/water, season/climate and how you style your hair (heat tools, air dry, etc.). All of this makes reviewing hair products too intimidating for me!

EauMG’s Answer: Hmmm…I wish I had a current fave. I feel like I’m in a hair product funk. I actually just repurchased some Chi items because I remember that I loved it back in the day. I haven’t use it yet so I shall see if it is as good as I remember. My hair has been so frizzy (and extra coarse) lately. Any suggestions
I went nuts buying clothes so I tried to restrict myself on the beauty purchases. I ran out of cleanser so I bought Glyderm Gentle Cleanser and Lalun Naturals Winter Rose Oil Cleanser. So far, I’m loving both. Being that it’s colder, I don’t air dry my hair as often because I feel like I’ll freeze to death. I bought Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Thermal Setting Spritz. Earlier this month, I posted my review and tips for a temporary hair color, Roux Fanci-Full. You can see more and read my impressions here. It’s an easy to use hair color that washes out in one washing. It really kept my color looking healthy over the past few months. I’m currently using it over my ash brown and love it.
2015 has been a boring hair year for me. I’m growing it out. This means I’m heat styling less, dying and bleaching less and conditioning it like crazy. Earlier this year, I was so bored and wanted to chop it off again. I talked myself out of it, but I ended up adding some highlights or “baby lights” as they call them now.
