I’ve been in a perfume funk where nothing new has really interested me but there have been some expectations.¹ Before this “Late Summer 2016 Reawakening”, I can only think of a few new things that I felt like wearing. It’s my birthday today, so I’m already feeling old. But, this fragrance is really making me feel old. I can’t believe that Armani Code was launched over a decade ago. December was a good month but I’m happy it’s over. It’s always an exhausting month. I enjoy it but I’m always happy for it to end too. December is just *too much* – too much food, too much socializing, too much drinking, too much spending and too cold.

I’ve been in a makeup funk for a long time and I’m finally starting to feel like playing in it again. Who knows, maybe a vintage makeup look tutorial will show up again?
