Can you believe summer is almost over?!

I have tried to take it easy. I bought Kérastase Chronologiste Gommage Pre-Shampoo. Is it a necessary product? Probably not but I like how it makes my scalp feel. I’m highly skeptical of scalp scrubs but I want to be as extra as I can be.

I am trying so hard to buy less. And I’m also failing at it. In June, I ended up making an e.l.f. order because I wanted to try their new foundation and SPF. But, with them it’s so cheap that the next thing you know, you’ve ordered 6 things you didn’t need. Anyway, I love everything that I bought. I think elf is doing the best with the “no makeup makeup” look than anyone else. I know I say this every month, but August flew by. I can’t believe it’s already September!

I said I was going to put myself on a no-buy but obviously, I didn’t. While I was buying a liquid liner, I ended up impulse buying BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Palette. I have no idea who this person is but the highlighters are pretty and I’m a sucker for anything plummy brown. Overall, I’m really happy with this impulse buy.

April was a very busy month. I spent weeks in Tennessee to help with my mother’s recovery. As you can see, this impacted my “empties”. I wasn’t home to use up products. Products, in general, weren’t on my mind.

January was a busy month and I was too distracted to buy things. However, I still participated in some retail therapy.

I bought a couple Hurraw! Lip Balms. And in case you wondering, Vata smells amazing. It’s a sour cherry-like rose with cardamom. It’s delicious. Green Tea is subtle and that’s exactly why I bought it. I wanted something without an aroma and packed with anti-oxidants. Almond is a subtle almond biscotti like scent.
