Sonoma Scent Studio Forest Walk

Sonoma Scent Studio Forest Walk is a perfume inspired by summer walks through the woods of Northern California. I get that from Forest Walk except I think it smells prettier than the forests.

Violets carpet the edge of the forest – damp, reminiscent of freshly sliced cucumbers and faintly floral. Follow the trail and you’ll smell dried, warm cedar, fir and oak bark. April Aromatics Precious Woods

When I first wore April Aromatics Precious Woods it reminded me of walking through a damp forest after a rainy season. This was before I read the inspiration of the fragrance. I was reminded of the rainforests of the PNW. It ends up that the perfume is inspired by damp, lush forests; however, these were the forests of India. I don’t know what those smell like but it’s easy to believe that it does smell like Precious Woods.

Juniper Ridge Siskiyou Cedar Soap Review

I’ve fallen hard for the Juniper Ridge line. This makes sense since I love woodsy and evergreen fragrances. And…Juniper Ridge is a West Coast brand with products scented from the lovely forests that we have here. Being that I split my free time between fragrance boutiques and the woods, it would make sense that I would love this brand.

Lumberjack Werewolf is a limited edition fragrance featured in Smell Bent’s Attack of the Killer Smellies Collection for Halloween 2010. This collection features 4 spooky inspired scents that will only be available until November 1st.

Lumberjack Werewolf is well, awesome. It’s a bit strange but in a wearable strange way. My disclaimer is that I like skanky, animalic musk scents. DSH Perfumes Viridian

DSH Perfumes Viridian is a fresh, green fragrance that is in the Chroma Colors collection. It is described as “Organic. Sultry. Enchanted”. I have to agree.

The top of Viridian is dry and green. It reminds me of dry, cut grass. I love hay/grassy scents so I am loving the top to this. It is slightly spicy and green. Yep, just like celery seed.
