Guerlain Summer Splash 2009 Summer Color Collection

Again, I have fallen for a Guerlain color collection. This is of no surprise for this happens quite frequently. I love the Summer Splash collection, it is so beachy without being overly “tan” and “bronzed”. The packaging is beautiful and glamorous. The company describes this collection as “a mermaid basking under the sun.” I like the sound of that.

Guerlain Exotic Paradise Spring 2009 Makeup Collection

I love the new Guerlain Spring 2009 makeup collection. Yes, the “look” really resembles YSL and shu uemera, but I really like the bright green and coral products. They are fun and remind me more of summer. I am often inspired by nature. I’m looking for lipsticks the color of mushrooms and hair color the shade of weeds. The best shades are found in nature. Bright Idea: Covergirl Eye Enhancers Eyeshadow Quad in Tropical Fusion

I got this shadow quad free with a purchase of a Covergirl mascara. I thought I’d give this shadow a try. It really looks like Covergirl is trying to be “wild” and has launched some louder than average  colors. So here is my review of the quad 205 Tropical Fusion.
