Atkinsons is one of those newly revived perfume houses. It’s a British perfume house that now offers some classics as well as additional contemporary perfumes. When I want to smell “pretty”, I like to wear Les Parfums de Rosine. Their specialty is pretty, romantic rose-y perfumes. When the house launched Rose Nue in its pretty blush pink bottle with a jade green accent, I knew this was something I’d have to try. The concept, the colors…it all fits in perfectly with the Parfums Rosine image.

Last week, I reviewed a natural perfume with a realistic gardenia note. This perfume ignited an olfactory craving for gardenia. I went through my collection and samples looking for gardenia-centric perfumes. I came across some Olivine Atelier perfume oils that are white floral focused. Every year I complain about putting together a Mother’s Day Gift Guide even though I usually enjoy the “gift guide” portion of blogging. There’s a few reasons I dislike it¹ but the biggest one is that it’s intimidating. How can I put together a guide that is supposed to appeal to women of child-bearing age and beyond?
