I’m guessing that this is a 70’s look but it could easily be a late 60’s Casino Royale era look. Whatever the decade, I like this look. It’s a retro smoky eye that works for all complexions. Here’s what I did to get a Bond Girl-esque Miss Bouchet inspired look.
Here are 4 High Voltage Eyeshadows in various jewel tones that can be used for a smoky eye makeup eyes. These colors are rich and pigmented. All swatches are done without a primer.

Does anything make you cringe more than the thought of 80’s makeup? Yes, and that’s most likely big 80’s hair! So, I’ve tried to copy this Joan Jett makeup look. I’m not “going there” with the hair! (I’m already embarrassed as is!) I’m going to see if one can rock an 80’s rock’n look that Joan is sporting here. Yves Saint Laurent Holiday Bow Color Collection is all about “wrapping” up 2008. There are some nice holiday items and the rest are well, relaunches. Here we go again, another smoky eye kit. I’m kind of tired of the smoky eye look and I am ready to move on.
