As I mentioned in my Perfume Picks for Summer 2013 video, I was slow to warm up to Heeley Sel Marin. It wasn’t that I disliked it, but I didn’t exactly “get” it when I tried it in 2008. Creed Love in Black EDP

I can not emphasize to perfume newbies enough just how important it is to try stuff on the skin before ever considering buying. There are so many fragrances that smell good on paper, smell good on your BFF or sound great in a review and smell awful on your skin. Creed Love in Black is one of those for me.

Villainess Chloroform and Jade Soap Reviews

I’ve reviewed a few Villainess soap bars in the past. And here are 2 quick reviews of the “green” bars.

Villainess Soaps

Chloroform – “Crisp cucumber, sickly sweet green vegetation, a dizzy whiff of violets, mind-numbing plum, and a stiff shot of anesthitizing vermouth.”

A Dozen Roses Electron EDP Perfume Review

A Dozen Roses Electron EDP

The newest addition to the A Dozen Roses line is Electron. It is described as “A shock to the senses…clean, fresh, fabulous”. Would I ever call it a shocking fragrance? No. It’s an inoffensive and pretty fragrance in a gorgeous bottle.
